Shaping the plan

In 2015 we asked you for your ideas and feedback on some ways to tackle the activities that have the greatest impact on water quality.

We got your feedback from:

  • 12 drop-in sessions
  • 2 live Facebook sessions
  • Over 200 feedback forms
  • 100s of post-it note ideas

We also met with a large number of businesses, industry groups, stakeholders and councils.

Councillors and Te Ao Marama board members worked through the ideas and feedback to develop the proposed plan.

The proposed Southland Water and Land Plan was released for submissions in June 2016.
